CastForge’s debut on the Stuttgart exhibition grounds is already history. HEUNISCH GUSS presented its comprehensive production portfolio alongside 152 other exhibitors from 18 nations from 5 to 7 June, 2018. The trade fair for castings and forgings with processing far exceeded its target of 3,000 visitors over three days and registered 3,700 impressed visitors in total.

Thomas Laue (Sales Director, HEUNISCH GUSS) clarified his expectations regarding CastForge at the opening press conference: “The birth of CastForge is a real stroke of luck for HEUNISCH GUSS. We are really looking forward to our company’s presentation at a trade fair specifically for our products. We are providing visitors with an overview of our comprehensive production portfolio and naturally we would like to acquire new customers too. However, we also see CastForge as a great opportunity to chat to our partners and consolidate our existing business relationships.” These words were probably heard by the visitors too as the HEUNISCH foundry’s sales team were able to conduct really good conversations with many of their customers. However, the existing and potential customers were virtually balanced and a number of potential customers visited the trade fair stand to find out exactly what HEUNISCH foundry is all about. The sometimes elaborately displayed exhibits rounded off the successful trade fair appearance.

The consolidation of customer relationships alone made the trade fair appearance worthwhile. The new contacts made during CastForge also promise interesting challenges in the near future. Participation in a possible follow-up to CastForge on Stuttgart’s exhibition grounds goes without saying at HEUNISCH Foundry.
