HEUNISCH presented its range of cast parts in the midst of 2,360 exhibitors at the NEWCAST Trade Fair in Düsseldorf. Together with GIFA, METEC and THERMPROCESS, NEWCAST is part of a quartet of technology trade fairs. With 72,500 visitors from 118 countries, the leading trade fairs in the industry were once again a magnet for specialists.
The start of the trade fair also represented the start of a new chapter for the company. Outside of the German-speaking world, HEUNISCH is thought of as a proper noun but the word “Guss” has no meaning. This applies for both our customers and our employees in the Czech Republic. For that reason, Heunisch Guss has become HEUNISCH.
The company impressed a large number of visitors with its complex cast parts at its stand in Düsseldorf. Machine-formed grey and spheroidal cast parts were shown, as were die casts made from aluminium alloy with the highest standards. After appropriate processing, one of the exhibits allowed a glimpse into the inner life of a cast part which would otherwise remain hidden. Visitors also had the chance to be convinced by the real net output ratio at HEUNISCH. We also showcased a wide range of additional services – from the metal cutting process of the cast parts through to innovatively dying aluminium cast parts.
Customers and prospective customers both took centre stage at the trade fair for the HEUNISCH sales team. That meant we were able to welcome a larger number of business partners at our stand, which were thus also provided with a central point of contact in Düsseldorf. Furthermore, the new contacts established promise interesting challenges for the near future.
It wasn’t just the sales team on site at the stand in Düsseldorf. The focus for many technicians and material managers, especially at GIFA, the exhibition for foundry machines and foundry materials, was on all four HEUNISCH foundries. Visitors could inspect the latest developments in foundry machines and foundry auxiliaries. All in all, the HEUNISCH team is looking back on a successful week at the trade fair. A good platform like this, which allows the company to showcase itself to a global audience and at the same time to gain a wide range of information from suppliers, only comes around every four years at the quartet of technology trade fairs in Düsseldorf.
